Maurten GEL MIX 480

A concentrated hydrogel blend with 120g of carbohydrates. When mixed with 200ml of water, it creates a consistency between a drink and a classic gel.

Maurten Gel Mix 480 is a carbohydrate fuel for long endurance training and races. One sachet contains 120g of carbohydrates and, when mixed with 200ml of water, creates a thick liquid with a consistency between a Drink Mix and a ready-made gel.

The mixture uses Maurten's hydrogel technology. In the acidic environment of the stomach, it turns into a gel that encapsulates carbohydrates and helps transport them to the intestines where they are absorbed.

Gel Mix 480 is prepared in a soft flask. It allows for carrying a large amount of carbohydrates in one package and gradually dispensing energy according to the duration and intensity of the activity. It is therefore particularly suitable for ultrarunning, long cycling races, and demanding training blocks.

The mix has a neutral taste, contains no added flavors, colors, or preservatives, and can be combined with Maurten Additions flavor supplements.

Usage

1. Pour 200ml of water into a soft flask.

2. If using Maurten Addition, add it to the water and shake.

3. Add the entire contents of the Gel Mix 480 sachet.

4. Shake thoroughly until the mixture dissolves.

5. Let stand for approximately 5 minutes before consumption.

For best use, the mix is designed for the Maurten Gel Mix Flask 350ml, but another suitable soft flask can also be used. The prepared mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours.
