Maurten GEL 160 is a larger hydrogel designed for athletes who want to consume more energy in one package. Each serving contains 40g of carbohydrates and approximately 160 kcal.

Carbohydrates are present in a fructose to glucose ratio of 0.8:1. The gel uses Maurten's patented hydrogel technology, which encapsulates carbohydrates and helps transport them through the stomach to the intestines, where they are absorbed.

Unlike common energy gels, it does not have a syrupy consistency. It is firmer, has a subtle natural sweetness, and can be consumed without water. It is particularly suitable for long endurance activities and situations where a high amount of carbohydrates needs to be consumed quickly and easily.

Usage

Consume the gel before or during performance according to your nutritional plan and desired carbohydrate intake.

You can eat the contents of the sachet all at once or gradually bite off the gel and divide it into several smaller doses. It is not necessary to drink water with it.
